Charlotte Gainsbourg by Drew Barrymore
Tommy Hilfiger has recruited the help of Charlotte Gainsbourg and Drew Barrymore to promote the brand’s new limited-edition handbag, launched to raise money for charity Breast Health International. French muse Gainsbourg was hired to front the campaign, while actress Barrymore took on the role of photographer.
“We all know someone, whether it’s a family member or a friend of a friend, who has been affected by breast cancer,” said Gainsbourg. “Whenever a disease like this hits close to home, it definitely changes your outlook. It really motivates you, on a personal level, to take action.

This marks the sixth consecutive year that the US brand has supported BHI, a non-profit foundation that raises money for breast cancer research and treatment. A proportion of each bag sale will go towards the charity. And it seems that Gainsbourg and Barrymore rather enjoyed the process.

“It was great to work with Drew,” said Giansbourg. “She was very charming and lively and funny, and she brought really positive energy to the set. As a fellow actress, she made me feel very comfortable during the shoot.”
