Azealia Banks Takes M.A.C.’s SoHo Boutique
Singer Azealia Banks has become the darling of the fashion world of late—performing chez Lagerfeld for the launch of the designer’s Karl line and rapping her way through Alexander Wang’s new video campaign this summer. Now, for one night only, she’s taking on the beauty world. In honor of Fashion’s Night Out, Banks has teamed up with the pros at M.A.C. on a limited-edition lipstick that packs (almost) as much swagger as the Harlem-born rapper and vocalist herself. The vampish blackened violet lip color—a spot-on match to the shade she wears on the cover of her breakout 1991 EP—will be available online starting September 5. Those who plan on storming the New York City streets the following night can snap one up in person at the company’s new SoHo boutique—then stay to catch a rare live performance by Banks at around 7:45 p.m.

Grace Coddington’s Accessories Collection at Balenciaga
The cat will be out of the bag on Balenciaga’s limited-edition collaboration with Grace Coddington at the brand’s Fashion’s Night Out festivities in Chelsea. The “Pumpkin Papier” tote named after the Vogue creative director’s beloved pet, features her illustrations of cats modeling Balenciaga looks of the past decade and is part of an accessories collection that includes scarves, too. Coddington will be the guest of honor at the flagship store on West Twenty-second Street, where champagne will be served from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. West Coast cat lovers can get their paws on the collaboration at the brand’s Los Angeles outpost on Melrose.
