Emma Stone’s various fashion styles, in Vogue August issue
Vogue pays homage to autumn/winter 2012-13′s key trends in its August issue and, more specifically, the return of the trouser suit – a look seen on the catwalks of Haider Ackermann, Stella McCartney and Giorgio Armani. But, if you still aren’t swayed, the Vogue View supplement provides a veritable feast of new season inspiration – from the oversized silhouette to the colour to be seen in (purple in case you were wondering). Trends aside, Emma Stone makes her Vogue cover debut and talks to Alexa Chung about sex scenes, suffering from anxiety and the problems with fame.
Emma Stone Style Highlights
EmmaStone is feeling the full force of UK affection this month as the cover star of Vogue and Spider-Man’s leading lady – and her stylist Petra Flannery says it’s as much down to her versatile personality as to her good looks.
“She’s an incredible person – generous and kind and I’m flattered that she gives me the credit for the work we do together,” says Flannery, often credited with Stone’s fashion statements while other Hollywood stars like to deny the existence of style advisors in their lives. “We have a great and very professional working relationship and we get the job done. We’ve worked together for four years and she knows what she likes and she loves fashion. She’s a fantastic actor and she’s as versatile with her acting as she is with her fashion and make-up – she has a great range in every aspect so it’s really inspiring to work with her fashion too.”
Flannery, who talks through her favorites of Emma’s looks here and reveals how they were put together, also thoroughly approves of Patrick Demarchelier’s cover of her on the August issue of Vogue. “I love it,” she told us. “I love the whole story, I love the hat – Emma does that Sixties element really well – it’s fun and playful and I think it was a really fantastic choice.” –vogue.co.uk + photos
