L’Occitane launches trio of colognes

Across the land of Provence, people will tell you that “l’aigo es d’or,” meaning “water is gold.” L’Occitane’s Eau de Cologne collection is inspired by the freshness of the fountains present throughout the region. Each with citrusy notes of Bergamot, the selection of scents includes zesty, floral and stimulating aromas meant for both men and women.

L’Occitane Eau De Cologne

L’Occitane is launching three colognes this month of June: one masculine (Eau Captivante), one feminine (Eau Ravissante) and one shared (Eau Universelle). The fragrances have been inspired by Provence, and are available as 300ml splash and 50ml spray bottles, as well as a matching shower gel.

Eau Ravissante features citrus notes and flower petals; Eau Universelle has notes of bergamot and grapefruit; while Eau Captivante combines aromatic notes with bergamot and lime.

The bottle’s herringbone motif is based on the stonework columns of Provençal fountains, and the typeface used for the fragrance names is inspired by the cast-iron signs that guide visitors through Provençal villages. –basenotes.net + photo

The Eau Ravissante Fresh Cologne offers a dazzling bouquet of floral aromas with fruity citrus notes. This mischievous fragrance combines the sensual softness of rose petals with the sparkling freshness of citrus fruits.
