Jessica Simpson’s Vintage Bloom ‘a Beginning’ scent
Crisp vibrant citrus notes of Calabrese lemon and Caipirinha lime zest open Vintage Bloom with a zing. Slowly, the soft femininity of raspberry bloom, a breezy, light fresh floral accord and a burst of stardust peony evolve to embrace Jessica’s dreamy romantic nature. Bright, youthful notes are tempered as the fragrance blossoms into warm sensuality, inviting notes of crisp cotton musk and Indian sandalwood to charm and delightfully entice. Jessica Simpson Vintage Bloom 2012 Perfume
With baby Maxwell in her life, Jessica Simpson has a whole new outlook on life.
“Maxwell has changed the way I think about everything,” the new mom tells PEOPLE. “I have been loving everything floral and feminine. Even Maxwell’s nursery has vintage floral wallpaper. And there is nothing better than her natural scent! If only I could bottle that up.”
Sadly, she can’t make that happen, but she has released a new fragrance, Vintage Bloom, “a sheer scent with the freshness of citrus,” she explains. “It is extremely clean and natural.”
A departure from her most recent perfume, I Fancy You — the fourth and final fragrance in her Fancy Collection — Vintage Bloom features notes of lemon, lime and raspberry, underscored by floral accord, peony, cotton musk and Indian sandalwood.
“I’ve been wearing it all the time,” Simpson says. “It’s my favorite fragrance right now. It reminds me of summer and smells very feminine.”
Packaged in a vintage-inspired bottle modeled after a flacon from Simpson’s personal collection, the scent was “a bit of a departure,” she says. “It came about in a time in my life when everything was feeling very organic and new. Everything felt like a beginning, and that’s how this scent smells to me.”
