We’ve seen countless toned down alternatives worth indulging in in the past seasons in the Dolce & Gabbana collections. However, for the pre-fall 2012 season, the luxury label decided it was time to step it up a notch and made sure to include plenty of fabulous alternatives that can steal the spotlight instantly as opposed to simply being a small part of the outfits created. As a consequence, the label shows off a multitude of seductive alternatives that can become the center of attention for a variety of outfits.

The floral print trend has been beautifully reinterpreted in a fabulous set of designs that were traditionally done by hand. Furthermore, the label even goes as far mixing the reinterpreted floral print trend with animal prints for an even more breath-taking effect. Spacious yet ultra seductive, these designs don’t require any compromises on style. The color combos along with the classiness of the designs are the perfect recipe for complete amazement.

A gypsy inspiration can also be sensed in the collection. It is mainly represented by the intricate golden touches which manage to transform the designs into veritable statement pieces that aim to make the impression of opulence even more obvious. The traditional black and gold color combo is transformed and definitely proves a difficult choice for those who aren’t necessarily used to very conspicuous styles. There are also alternatives which fall more in the range the brand has gotten us used to.

These alternatives are mainly lace inserts in the same black and gold combo but which now seems a lot more toned down. The black/white oversized bags with golden chains filled with subtle textural flowers seems a much better alternative for those looking for both functionality and luxury in a slightly more discreet yet undoubtedly elegant approach.
